Ted talk Summarize
People can have many definitions for Photography but I think photography is the art, application, and practice of creating images by recording light, either electronically by means of an image sensor, or chemically by means of a light-sensitive material such as photographic film. Photography gives so much meanings and some people sometimes say that being a photographer is hard but if you put work into your photos that you take then they will be great and meaningful without words put into it.
Today when I watched TED when David Griffin was talking to us about how important photos can just be with no words. when he was saying how important any photo can be just from the looks not the words it gave me some things to think about and If someone takes a photo of anything either something sad, People being mad/fires/loss of a family member, Or people being happy with either family members, stores, places/adventures, friends, pets.
All these photos can just be described as in a photo no words describing what's going on. It really means a lot to me when I get to think "why did they choose this photo?" instead of people saying right when they show me the photo "I choose this photo because..." I like to see what the photo is and how/why they choose this, after I will ask them why they choose this photo but I want to imagine it before I find out.
Photography is really great you let yourself go and it calms you and you have some time to yourself. When David said that it made me think of all the good/bad times I've had with my family/friends/school. A flashbulb memory is a vivid, long-lasting memory about a surprising or shocking event that has happened in the past. I feel like if we didn't have a Flashbulb memory then we wouldn't be able to remember anything and picture what happened that day. I feel glad we have a flashbulb Memory.
